Being stuck inside and not being able to travel anywhere has me reminiscing about the last few trips I've taken. And then I realized that I never shared my girls' trip to Savannah last summer. It was the first time I had a gotten to take a little road trip with my girls, and was a great way to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
We stayed in the Hotel Indigo in the historic district. It was perfect because we could walk everywhere that we wanted to go, so we never had to worry about moving the car and parking. And we had a beautiful view of the water.
Friday Night
Friday night we drove into Savannah and had a late dinner at The Olde Pink House Restaurant. The food was simply amazing and the history and ambience are fantastic. The night we were there, there was a lady in costume walking around singing.

Saturday

Saturday started off with brunch at The Emporium in the Perry Lane Hotel. We had made plans to go to Collins Quarter for brunch, but turned out they had an hour wait and didn't take reservations and we were starving. So we got a personal recommendation for the Emporium and it was awesome!

Super yummy beignets
No shopping trip in Savannah is complete without a stop at my favorite store; Paris Market and Brocante. I've gotten so many of my favorite things here including my straw hat, and things for Cameron's Little Prince themed first birthday party.
French lemonade and macarons are an absolute must. And are my happy place.

Shopping always makes you hungry and thirsty, so we stopped for a pick-me-up at the Peregrine in the Perry Lane Hotel. This is probably my favorite spot in Savannah. The view is amazing and the menu is yummy and refreshing.
Fun elevator wallpaper
Saturday night we went on a riverboat cruise on the Georgia Queen. We took the sunset cruise and got to ride on the top deck. They had snacks and music and it was generally fun and refreshing.

Yep, she's totally wearing my dress. 😉 I mean what are girlfriends for?

Finished out the night with dinner and dessert at Melting Pot Fondue. I could have definitely licked the chocolate pot. So yummy. And fondue is always a fun experience.
Sunday
Sunday morning we checked out of the hotel and headed to brunch at The Grove. I had heard amazing things about the Grove so I was anxious to try it, and it did not disappoint!
It has a beautiful rooftop too, it was just a little hot that particular day to eat out there. But we had to get pictures and a spend a little time up there!
Savannah was a great summer girls' weekend, and I can't wait to do it again. And they've opened some new things since we were there last year. So if you're looking for a fun little weekend with your girls this summer, Savannah is the place to go!
