Baby Style - Year 1

When I found out that I was having a boy, my first thought was "I have no idea how to dress a boy!!" But it turns out that dressing a boy is super fun! I love the Janie and Jack outlet (please someone buy them so they don't go out of business and make me cry!!!), local boutiques, and we have an amazing local consignment store. So here are some of my favorite outfits from the munchkin's first year of life.

This was his going home from the hospital outfit. It was a baby shower gift that was purchased at Belk.

This was his first Mother's Day outfit. I honestly don't remember where it come from. He was like 2 weeks old so it was a happy blur.

Loved this Janie and Jack outfit

Took his one month pictures in this adorable outfit. It was a newborn from Janie and Jack but was still too big.

Got this Janie and Jack shirt and matching Gymboree shorts from a local consignment store

This precious linen jon jon came from Janie and Jack
Dress: Vince Camuto
Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs

He wore my favorite Janie and Jack outfit to my friend's rehearsal dinner
Dress: Taylor
Shoes: Guess

He wore this precious outfit that was a shower gift for his newborn photos

Our favorite nurse that gave me iron infusion gave us this precious outfit and introduced us to Baby Soy. Its an amazing recycled brand and its so soft! You can find them at T.J.Maxx and Amazon.

This jon jon was from Janie and Jack and I loved it. This precious bunny sweater came from Gymboree.
Dress: Donna Morgan
Watch: Michael Kors

This precious pink and black ensemble came from a local boutique. It had zebras on it and it was precious.
Top: Calvin Klein
Sweater: Halogen
Shorts: Loft
Shoes: Steve Madden

We did his three month pictures in this adorable crab outfit. I think it came from the consignment store. I was sad when he outgrew it.

Contrary to his face he loved this precious set from the consignment store. My dad was a pilot and I love planes so this was right up my alley. We do a lot of airplanes, cars and puppies.

I thought he would never grow into this adorable Mudpie outfit that was a baby shower gift. I loved the pattern so much!

And we're back to the airplanes. The shirt and jeans were a baby gift (I think from Belk) and the sweater was Janie and Jack. I found it in a bigger size for this current winter, so yay!

This was my favorite fashion onesie he had. Definitely a Southern bred boy! And he loves his puppies!

This super cute teddy sweater was from the local consignment store, and the pants came from a boutique.
Jacket: Nine West
Turtleneck: Banana Republic
Pants: Banana Republic
Sunglasses: Versace

My mother found this reindeer hat in the hospital gift shop. I just can't get enough pictures of it on his adorable head. The sweater and shoes came from Janie and Jack and I don't remember where I got the pants.

This cute Christmas outfit is by Mayoral and I found it at a boutique. I actually found this outfit in a bigger size at the consignment store for this Christmas! I love when that happens.

This moose sweater was his first purchase from Neiman Marcus. Have to raise the kiddo right. The shoes were Janie and Jack, and I have no idea where the pants came from.
Turtleneck: Banana Republic
Jacket: White House Black Market
Jeans: Loft

This one piece was Ralph Lauren and came from Belk. The hat was from Janie and Jack. I loved how grown up he looked in this outfit.

I was super surprised to find the munchkin a Valentine's outfit at Target. He was able to wear it for almost a year.

This was his outfit for his very first Easter egg hunt. He was actually featured in the local newspaper! But how could you not want to print this face?? The polo was from Janie and Jack, the vest and pants are Janie and Jack from the local consignment store. His loafers are Elephantitos and we are on fourth pair of these precious shoes.

This was the cutie's first Easter outfit. The shirt and vest came from Crazy 8 and were a shower gift. The pants were Janie and Jack. And he had shoes on at some point in the day . . .

This was hands down my favorite polo shirt from last summer. It was Janie and Jack. I don't remember where the shorts came from. The sandals came from Nordstrom Rack and we went through  two pairs over the course of the summer.
Blouse: Vince Camuto
Sweater: Halogen
Jeans: Loft
Sandals: Coach

This little swimsuit and swim hat both came from the consignment store. It looked so adorable on him.

Another cute polo and short combo from Janie and Jack and our favorite Nordstrom Rack sandals.

My little dapper man wore this ensemble to a wedding in April before his birthday. The polo was from Janie and Jack (for his easter egg hunting outfit), as were the vest, hat, pants and shoes.

Another polo short outfit from Janie and Jack. We love our polos and shorts in the south!! And our favorite loafers go with everything!!!

This was his outfit for his one year portraits and also his first birthday party. The outfit came from a local boutique. We love these Footmates oxfords; we've had them in navy, khaki, and red.

Welcome to my Poshmark addiction

If there was ever in doubt in anyone's mind, I love shopping. But like the normal person I don't have a bottomless income. I've always had my eye out for sales and I'm a huge fan of local consignment stores. So when I discovered Poshmark I was completely beside myself with excitement! An online consignment store with all my favorite brands and amazing prices and contributors from the around the country. So for those of you who haven't discovered this magic yet, Poshmark is an app where you make a profile and you can buy and sell clothes, shoes and jewelry for men, women, and children. They have luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Gucci, or Tiffany all the way down to Michael Kors, Ivanka Trump, and Eliza J. If that isn't your speed they even have Old Navy and Free People. A large percentage of the items still have tags on them! They have it all. And the prices are amazing. I've only ever had one issue with a purchase and they promptly refunded my money and sent me a mailing label to return it. I've also sold a few items on the app as well, but I've definitely had more luck buying than I have selling. I think the selling part is an art . . . a talent that I just don't have . . . haha

So anyway, I wanted to share some of my favorite finds from Poshmark. I haven't photographed everything and I'm always sending them money, so there will definitely be a 2.0 to this post!
